Is Litter-Garage™ right for you?
Litter-Garage needs a convenient location on the wall of your attached garage for the covered litter box and support tray to be mounted. This assembly will measure 18" wide by 24" deep. You will need to cut an opening on the inside wall (approximately, 6 1/2" wide x 7" high) for the cat door and a corresponding opening on the garage wall for the chute. The chute fits between the two openings, connecting the cat door to the litter box.
The chute is sloped to allow litter from the cat's paws to roll back into the box. This greatly reduces the amount of tracked-in litter. To accommodate the sloped chute, the garage floor must be at least 5" lower than the finished interior floor for standard installation. Otherwise, please contact us about a custom chute and price.
Laundry/utility rooms, kitchen walls and back entry areas are ideal locations, but we have seen successful installations in living room walls! Litter-Garage will fit any 2x3, 2x4 or 2x6 wall with no modifications needed to any parts.
Litter-Garage accommodates cats up to 15 pounds.
We provide detailed instructions for installation, which takes about an hour for the average do-it-yourselfer or handyperson. A few basic tools and accurate measuring are all you need!
